The procedure starts with the placement of dental implants into one’s existing bone structure. Over the course of several months, the implants bond with the bone, providing a stable foundation on which to connect to your dentures. Once the implants have had sufficient time to bond with the jawbone, an abutment is attached to the implants, which is used to connect to your custom-fitted and designed dentures.

Dental implant assisted removable dentures can either be bar-retained or stud-retained. Bar-retained dentures are snapped into place using clips that connect to a thin metal bar atop your implants. Stud-retained dentures are fitted to a metal attachment in your dental implants.
