Originally from Pennsylvania, I made the move to San Diego in 2017 after living in North Carolina and Okinawa, Japan. Of all the places I’ve called home, San Diego holds a special place in my heart, and I’m proud to have settled here permanently.
Though my initial career path was in physical therapy, attending the University of North Carolina, life led me to the rewarding field of dental care. As a patient coordinator, I’m passionate about helping our patients feel at ease and confident throughout their visit. Whether it’s assisting with scheduling, answering questions, or ensuring the highest level of care, I’m here to make every experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible!
When I’m not at the office, you’ll find me outdoors, soaking up the sunshine, or making fun memories with my daughter. I’m dedicated to building meaningful relationships with our patients and making sure their dental visits are always positive and stress-free!

A recent UC San Diego graduate with a degree in biochemistry, her passion for science and helping others inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry. As a dental assistant, she’s excited to connect with patients, contribute to confident smiles, and prepare for dental school in the near future.
Outside of work, Sam loves practicing Taekwondo, spending time with her dog Scooter, exploring new places, and searching for the best matcha latte in San Diego.
Sam is thrilled to work alongside Dr. MacPherson and Dr. Neal and is eager to learn from their expertise to deepen her understanding of the field. With a strong enthusiasm for patient care and a lifelong love of learning, she looks forward to growing as an assistant.
“Everyone here is so welcoming and supportive. It’s clear this team genuinely cares about their patients’ smiles and well-being, and I’m excited to grow both personally and professionally in this environment.”
